The True Origin of April Fools… Maybe

Once upon a time, in a land called Folia, there lived a kingdom that loved to celebrate the arrival of spring. The people of Folia had a magical way of embracing the new season, with a day filled with laughter, joy, and a touch of mischief. This particular day was known as April Fools’ Day.

In Folia, the first day of April marked the beginning of the month when the flowers bloomed, the trees blossomed, and the animals came out to play after a long, cold winter. On this day, the townsfolk enjoyed playing good-natured pranks on one another, all in the spirit of fun and friendship.
Now, in the kingdom’s heart, a mischievous fairy named Folly lived. She was a tiny creature with sparkling wings, a cheeky grin, and a spirit of mischief. Folly was the embodiment of April Fools’ Day, and she spent the whole year waiting for the first of April to arrive, so she could spread joy and laughter throughout the land.
