Freewrite Hemingwrite

The Freewrite Hemingwrite has finally come. It arrived in a sturdy brown box marked fragile from China. It’s a little heavy compared to what I thought the box would be. My guess is the added bulk is from the attaché case that came with it.

I came forth with a box cutter and carefully sliced open the top, revealing a thin piece of cardboard. Definitely not thick enough to stop a very sharp stab of a box cutter but enough to stop it if you are being careful. I carefully chucked it across the room and boom, there it is, the attaché case.

Now this is a warning to all. Be very careful when opening up your Hemingwrite. There is no other box in there. The lovely soft leather case is the only thing keeping your device safe. This is good in that there is minimal waste but bad in that you can scratch it before thoroughly enjoying this sexy beast of old times.
